Privacy Policy

The App is an audio/video format conversion tool. We follow the principle of "data minimization" by design: the App does not require account registration, does not collect identity information such as your name or phone number, displays no advertising, and does not integrate advertising or third-party behavioral analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.

1. Files you choose to convert (video/audio) To perform format conversion, the files you actively select are temporarily uploaded via an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) to cloud storage (Alibaba Cloud OSS, data center located in Singapore), where our conversion service transcodes them. We do not view, analyze, or use the content of your files, nor do we share them with any third party. Uploaded source files and conversion results are retained only temporarily and are automatically deleted by the system within 24 hours after conversion. The download link for a conversion result is valid for 2 hours after the conversion completes.

2. Device and anonymous identifiers To identify conversion tasks and authenticate service requests, we store a random anonymous identifier (anonymousId) in the device's secure storage (SecureStore); on Android devices we may also read the system Android ID to associate tasks. These identifiers do not contain personal identity information such as your name or phone number, and are used only for authentication and associating your conversion tasks.

3. Local notifications When a conversion completes or fails, the App sends a local notification on your device. Notification content is generated locally; we do not push remote notifications to you, nor do we collect notification-related data.

4. Local storage Conversion task records, notification history, and similar information are stored in a local database on your device. Uninstalling the App or clearing the App data will delete them.

5. App update service The App uses Expo EAS Update to deliver over-the-air updates and contacts Expo (expo.dev) servers on launch to check for new versions. This process transmits only technical information such as the app version; it does not upload your files or personal identity information.

· Photo/Media access permissions (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES/VIDEO/AUDIO): used only when you select files to convert or save conversion results to your photo library. You can deny or revoke these at any time in system settings. · Notification permission: used to alert you when a conversion completes. Can be disabled at any time in system settings. · Network permission: used to upload files for conversion and download conversion results.

· Storage location: uploaded files are stored on Alibaba Cloud OSS (Singapore region); transmission is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. · Retention period: source files and conversion results are retained in the cloud for no more than 24 hours, after which they are automatically and irreversibly deleted by the system. · Manual deletion: you can delete conversion tasks in the task list. After deletion, a task record is no longer displayed (it is marked as deleted on the server), and its files are automatically deleted when the 24-hour retention period above expires. · Sharing: we do not sell, rent, or share your files or personal information with any third party. Alibaba Cloud, our cloud infrastructure provider, acts solely as a data storage and computing provider and is bound by its own security and compliance obligations. · Local data: uninstalling the App or clearing the App data deletes all task records and cached files stored locally on your device.

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information, to withdraw permissions you have granted, and to object to our processing of your information. You can disable relevant permissions through system settings, or contact us using the details below, and we will respond within a reasonable period.

The App is intended for general users and is not directed at children under 14 years of age, nor do we knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a minor, please use the App under the guidance of a guardian.

We may revise this policy from time to time. When the policy is updated, we will notify you within the App or through app updates. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes your agreement to be bound by the revised policy.
